| The
American Army Labs and Centers develop a set of research topics that
represent the Army's current and anticipated war fighting technology
requirements. These topics are included in the Army portion of the
DoD STTR. They aim to encourage scientific and technical innovation
in areas specifically identified by DoD (Department of Defence) Components.
